Tingkat pengetahuan tentang kesehatan reproduksi dengan sikap remaja terhadap seks bebas di SMA Sukoharjo

Abstract

Background: Adolescents with insufficient knowledge about reproductive health will easily lead them to fall into wrong attitudes about sex, which will have an impact on promiscuous sexual behavior. Preliminary research shows that the school has carried out outreach and outreach activities regarding sex education to students during the school orientation (MOS) period when they first enter school, but the school does not know how students behave outside of school.

Purpose: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about reproductive health and adolescents' attitudes towards free sex.

Method: Correlation type quantitative research, carried out in November 2023 at SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. The population of this study was 323 class XI students. The sample was taken using proportional random sampling technique and a sample size of 76 respondents was obtained. The questionnaire has been tested for validity and reliability with Cronbach's Alpha values of 0.807 and 0.700. The statistical test uses the Chi Square test with a significance value of α<0.05 which indicates that the alternative hypothesis is accepted.

Results: Statistical tests using the Chi-Square test showed that the level of knowledge and attitudes of adolescents had a significant relationship (p= 0.000; r= 16.340). Obtaining this value can be interpreted to mean that there is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge about reproductive health and teenagers' attitudes towards free sex, so the higher the knowledge, the better the teenagers' attitude towards free sex.

Conclusion: There is a positive relationship between the level of knowledge about reproductive health and adolescents' attitudes towards free sex. It is hoped that students can increase their enthusiasm for learning to increase their knowledge and understanding of reproductive health in order to avoid promiscuous sexual behavior.

Pendahuluan: Remaja dengan pengetahuan kurang mengenai kesehatan reproduksi maka akan mudah membawa mereka terjerumus ke dalam sikap yang salah mengenai seks, sehingga akan berdampak pada perilaku seks bebas. Pada studi pendahuluan menunjukkan bahwa pihak sekolah sudah menjalankan kegiatan penyuluhan dan sosialisasi mengenai sex education kepada siswa-siswi pada masa orientasi sekolah (MOS) awal masuk sekolah, namun pihak sekolah tidak mengetahui bagaimana perilaku siswa ketika di luar sekolah.

Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan tentang kesehatan reproduksi dengan sikap remaja terhadap seks bebas.

Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif jenis korelasi, dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2023 di SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas XI yang berjumlah 323, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling dan diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanyak 76 responden. Kuesioner telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitas dengan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0.807 dan 0.700. Uji statistik menggunakan uji Chi Square dengan nilai signifikansi α<0.05 yang menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis alternatif yang diterima.

Hasil: Uji statistik menggunakan uji Chi-Square menunjukkan tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap remaja mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan (p= 0.000; r= 16.340). Perolehan nilai tersebut dapat diartikan bahwa, terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat pengetahuan tentang kesehatan reproduksi terhadap sikap remaja terhadap seks bebas, maka semakin tinggi pengetahuan, akan semakin baik pula sikap remaja terhadap seks bebas.

Simpulan: Terdapat hubungan positif antara tingkat pengetahuan tentang kesehatan reproduksi dengan sikap remaja terhadap seks bebas. Diharapkan siswa-siswi dapat meningkatkan semangat dalam belajar untuk menambah ilmu pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang kesehatan reproduksi agar terhindar dari perilaku seks bebas.
